Equipment Alarms

Equipment alarms are available visually within the application and sent via email and/or text.  The application also provides a list of the historical alarms.  If you wish to alarm on equipment in certain conditions then have an administrator set up alarms in the Site and Equipment Configuration.

How to view equipment alarms

  1. When an alarm is active the site pin will be red.

  2. When an alarm is active the equipment on the Live Summary View will have an exclamation point displayed.

  3. When an alarm is active the Alarm tab and the equipment status on the Live View will have an exclamation point displayed.

  4. To view the equipment active and historical alarms, click on the Alarm tab on the Live Equipment View.


  5. To view more alarms in the past use the paging controls at the bottom or select the drop down for the Entry Count and select a new count.
  6. To enter a custom entry count, select the Entry Count drop down and select Custom.
  7. Enter the number of entries you want to view and click on the Retrieve button.

  8. Every five seconds the application checks the equipment status for active and cleared alarms.
  9. Once an alarm is no longer in an alarm condition then it will appear in the Alarm History with a cleared alarm date/time.
