Control Equipment

How to control equipment remotely

  1. To access your list of equipment click on the site pin from the map or select the site from the site list.


  2. The application displays a list of equipment for the site along with any active alarms.  Note:  If there is only one equipment configured then the equipment detail is displayed as shown in step 4.

  3. To view equipment detail, click on an equipment row.

  4. The application displays Equipment Live status and data. The equipment controls are displayed in the Control section. 
  5. Click on the data Play button to stream the data live.

  6.  In this example, a generator engine can be started from the application by selecting the Set button next to Run Engine.  Click on the Set button next to the equipment and control you want to set.

  7. The application displays a pop up to select the setpoint.  For discrete values, the application will pre-select the setpoint to the only other value available.
  8. Select a value from the list and click on the Set button. 

  9. The application returns to the Live Equipment View and presents the equipment with the new setting, equipment status, and a message of Success!
