Automatic Transfer Switch Alarm Descriptions

Data Point Name Access Value Type Point Source Description
Connected to Emergency Read Only Digital Hard-wired signal from ATS True when transfer switch is in the emergency position and site load is on Gen power.
Connected to Utility Read Only Digital Hard-wired signal from ATS (can be opposite of Connected to Emergency) True when transfer switch is in the utility position and site load is on utility power.
Dispatch Read/Write Digital Hard-wired remote test signal Control point that when True initiates Generator to start and transfer switch to move to emergency position putting facility load onto Gen power.  False value will send/keep transfer switch and building load on utility power.
Load Amps A Read Only Analog Calculated based on transfer switch position Amps on leg A measured at load side of transfer switch.
Load Amps B Read Only Analog Calculated based on transfer switch position Amps on leg B measured at load side of transfer switch.
Load Amps C Read Only Analog Calculated based on transfer switch position Amps on leg C measured at load side of transfer switch.
Load Frequency Read Only Analog Calculated based on transfer switch position Voltage frequency measured at load side of transfer switch.
Load kVAR Read Only Analog Calculated Reactive power reading measured at the load side of the transfer switch.
Load kW Read Only Analog Calculated Real power reading measured at the load side of transfer switch.
